We appreciate your review! The center dome insert is designed to create optimal burning conditions for the TIKI Brand Wood Pack. Burning the Wood Pack with the dome in the concave, ‘natural wood’ orientation will result in poor burn quality and burn duration. It can be flipped upside down when using logs and can be removed for cleaning. Flipping the dome creates more space for wood burning in the Reunion Fire Pit, but can be used both ways. When starting your Fire Pit, do not remove the internal dome feature to switch orientations. We hope this helps!

A great upgrade

We loved our patio size version but needed something bigger. The patio version is going strong after 4 years and the new reunion edition is bigger and even better.

Works as it should as long as you follow the guide lines. Definitely is smokeless with the dry wood I have love it we spend a lot of times outdoors the grandkids like it it’s not intimidating to them therefore they stay by it. Great buy.

Generates Too Much Smoke

Beautiful exterior, but it generates too much smoke. I want to love it if someone can explain how to minimize the smoke it produces with wood. I made sure the wood is dry, below the ring, and clean of ashes, but to no avail...Please help!

We appreciate your review and apologize for your experience. Smoke level is dependent upon the wood used and other varying burn conditions.  When lighting your Fire Pit using natural cut firewood, first remove the center cone from the Fire Pit. Stack kindling, newspaper, or a commercially-available fire starter in the center of the Fire Pit and place your larger pieces of wood around the fire starter. Be sure that the firewood doesn't stick over the edge of the Fire Pit as this affects secondary combustion, which results in more smoke. We hope this helps!
