I just switched my 30 year old mare from senior smartflex to senior smartcombo. She has been good so far. I guess time will tell how she does on the new supplement.

Not great for picky eaters

I was disappointed with these - my mare, who can be picky with supplements, just won't eat them. They do have a fairly strong odor, they smell a bit like soy sauce. I definitely do not recommend them for any picky eaters.

Acting Much Younger!

After a ton of research, we decided to put our 20 year old QH gelding on SmartPak's Senior Combo supplement. Since then, he acts like a young horse again! His energy levels have improved dramatically and he is much more able to handle longer/harder working periods.

I switched my horse from the smartcombo senior ultra to this one about a week ago and it has upset his digestion and caused large hives on his sides. I assume it’s from the Devils Claw. I will see if these symptoms go away but if not I will be switching back to the Ultra version.
