Works for me...

I'm not sure why others don't like it. I've had mine for 3 years and I've been happy with it. Mine measures 13' between the inside supports. This was important to me as I wanted to store two small cars side-by-side inside. The main cover did go thread-bare and tear near the top after two years of 4 season abuse (blazing hot Summer sun and freezing winter snows) and possibly having hte ratchets too tight. I bought a new cover this past Spring (direct from Shelter Logic) and it's been good so far. I'm hoping/planning to build a permanent shop in 2015 so hopefully I won't need it after then. I purchased the shelter online and had did in-store pick-up near work to save on shipping.

Ok but...

This model is NOT 13 feet wide. We called Shelter Logic and they agreed. It is only 12 feet. They further reported that they do not have a 13 foot wide structure... only 12 feet. The canvas cover will probably not last in our sunshine. Other reviews elsewhere have mentioned that the cover is poor and deteriorates in the sun. We will be covering our two frames with metal roofing and framing up the ends with wood. Also, we will be adding structural reinforcement and anchoring the frames to concrete. Poor instructions. We figured everything out without those poor instructions. On the good side: It was cheap to purchase... bought two from Tractor Supply at discounted rate because they had been rain damaged. Had to re-drill holes to the mounting feet because we needed the pipe-to-foot to seat properly. If not, then your entire structure is resting on a 5/16 bolt. Watch out for this. Poured a concrete footing for anchoring the structure properly. No way would we use the flimsy anchoring system in our winds... we get up to 80 mph.

Doing well.

We put up our garage between my shed and my cabin about a month ago. We had a severe storm come through a few days ago and it weathered the wind and rain with no problems. We are very satisfied.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice low cost storage option

My wife and I were able to assemble the shed ourselves. This was our second Garage-in-a-box and the assembly technique was basically the same. Some issues with burrs from dull punches and the alignment of some punched holes made assembly difficult (had to run a drill thru the hole to get bolt in) but other than that it was smooth sailing. Keeps my Kabota tractor and lawn mower out of the weather.

Large in charge

Was the Best Buy of the year for me . The 12 foot ceiling peak comes in handy for a loft area for extra storage and as for assembly it called for three or more people I was able to do myself, don’t get me wrong it wasn’t easy but I did whole tent including tarp alone. Only thing I didn’t like was garage door assembly kit the way it set up is. A bit of a pain to use if u plan to open up and close multiple times a day but that’s only if l r pulling a vehicle in .
