Q: In the City they have a code that says any building or shelter has to be able or rated to stand up to winds up to 90 miles and hour. Do these have any ratings for wind.

Q: What is the wind rating on this (I'll strap tie down to 4 eye bolts in cement) How long can I expect this fabric to last in a dry climate with regular winds?

- A: Hello, Unfortunately, this shelter is not live load rated. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance. If extremely high winds or storms are predicted the covers can be dismantled and stored. We do offer custom Engineered Structures that carry a wind rating when properly anchored. Q: Can extensions be added to the legs to raise the height of the canopy? Need to raise 2.5 to 3 feet to accommodate a sailboat.

- A: Hello, Unfortunately, we do not offer vertical extensions for this model. Some of our customers do give added height by anchoring them on to a platform. We would not suggest adding additional leg poles because that would compromise the stability of the structure. Shelter set-up

It took three people to setup. Setup would have been faster but there were times we had to stop and watch videos because we didn’t have a few parts. However, we had extra parts of others (which we made work for parts we didn’t have). We haven’t had any rain or wind yet so I can’t rate that portion of the shelter. Over all, we are very pleased with the shelter. I would recommend it to anyone.

Horrible quality! way overpriced!

As soon as I opened it I knew it was overpriced by the quality but I only planned to use it for a year ... it didn't last a month.
I purchased this as a tractor cover and anchored it down with the provided anchors. One storm with winds up to 30mph blew it about 50 feet the tarp was torn in multiple places and the frame bent..
No, I do not recommend this product.

Shelterlogic does not stand behind the quality of this product and when mine fell apart, after a few short months of use, I was told it is considered a temporary shelter and not rated against wind or snow, and that they looked up the weather in my area, and it is not covered due to acts of nature. Yet it is advertised as withstanding 90mph winds and 40psi snow 🧐🤔 it was junk from the start, although I really wanted to be impressed because it is a really nice concept. It’s just not quality and doesn’t last. You will regret the amount of time it takes to put together and the cost for the amount of time it last

The Wind Speed Rating 90 MPH and Snow Load Rating 40 PSF. Please note that the ShelterCoat round garages are wind and snow load rated. Wind and snow loads given are for reference only and assume a securely anchored frame according to local building codes and ordinances. These have been calculated using combined snow and wind load provisions in accordance with ASCE 7-05. These calculations are based on an unoccupied, fully enclosed building. Local building code requirements vary by location; conformance to local codes is the responsibility of the purchaser. Although the Sheltercoat is Wind and Snow rated, we still recommend anchoring down the unit and immediately removing any accumulated snow off the structure.
