I bought 4 of these sapphire gems at Tractor Supply last year (1 year ago!) and from day 1 they have been magnificent!! As chicks they were hardy, calm, and happy little babies. As soon as they were feathered they went out to the coop. They lay lovely large brown eggs, and only slowed down a little bit over the winter. They are already back to 6+ eggs a week in March. They are such beautiful hens. Their coloring is so lovely ranging from light grey with occasional dark spots, to my darkest hen with medium to dark grey ombré color. My favorite thing about my girls is their temperament. They are so happy to see anyone, they don’t peck people, and everyone gets along great with each other. There are no fights and no henpecking. They love to be loose in the yard (occasionally.. I’m afraid to lose them to predators) and they always stay very close to the coop and our house. They come running when called and are easy to catch and pickup. Great birds!!!

They were dead on arrival. I will not recommend no one buy such product online.
