Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too much dust After buying 3 bags, I decided not to buy this again. All were full of dusty and broken seed which clogged my tube feeders up. Not the norm for Royal Wing products, in my experience anyway. The debris seems to be from the ground up sunflower hearts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cardinals love it! I've been putting several types of feeders and food out, hoping to attract mostly cardinals, without much success. As soon as I put this food in, I've had cardinals. They don't even wait until I'm away from the feeder before they are munching along happily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sand in product I am a long time bird feeder 12 months a year. I have always had great results with this product. Recently I have found a lot of sand filler in the bag. I use a tube feeder and the sand slowly drops to the bottom of the tube rendering the seed on the bottom uneatable to the larger birds who want to perch and feed from the bottom holes. I cannot recommend this product until you get rid of the sand filler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nag, Nag, Nag As a long-time bird feeder, I know the importance of keeping my feeders full in the winter. And, I know that with my busy schedule, I don't always keep the feeder filled to the brim. However, I didn't expect to be "yelled at" by a Cardinal. Sitting on the eavespout Monday evening was a very disgruntled male Cardinal. He chirped at me as I got out of my car, then flew to the partially empty bird-feeder, chirped some more, flew to the closed seed can on the landing, chirped again, then flew back to his original perch and waited. It must be the Cardinal Mix since that has never happened with any other wild bird food. I'd say he gives it 5 stars plus!
