Very expensive, but the birds love it.

We have had a bad problem with squirrels eating our birdseed, until we tried the Spicy Hot stuff. While we still have the occasional squirrel, it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Our only takeaway is the cost. It’s very expensive compared with other bird foods, plus, to get the large bag I have to order it online and shipping costs simply add to the expense.

I used to love this seed, and the squirrels hated it. The comany has changed the name and the recipe. The squirrels now love it, and I have got to find another bird seed source.

Don’t waste your money

I usually feed just safflower as all the birds like it, but the squirrels are not crazy about it. I bought a small bag of the Spicy Hot seed to offer my birds a little variety while still not feeding the squirrels. Well, I have found that the birds only eat it as a last resort. If I allow the other feeders to sit empty for a day or two, some birds will eat this. Most of the time, though, it just sits there. Now what am I going to do with the rest of this seed??
