No Mess

I like using sunflower seed hearts rather than seed in the shell because it makes much less of a mess in the yard. It costs more, but you are not paying for the shell. Tractor Supply is the only place I have found large bags.

Since using royal wing sunflower hearts and no wast sweet food of same brand, I believe it has attracted a more varied variety of birds…Im most proud of the indigo buntings and they are back this year for the second year in a row

Quality is poor lots of powder

The seed bag is full of powder the birds do eat them but they clog the feeder there is so much powder in them. We’ve tried using a screen to remove the powder but there is so much even on a humid day it turns the seed into a cake like substance that the birds can’t get out of the feeder.

I like the product because the birds love it It doesn't leave all those empty hulls on the ground that is not only messy but can attract rodents. However, its a real strain on the budget.
