Dose it spread and how long to grow up all the way we put it out and it comes up looking like grass and it look spotty  we hade rain and the seed is in the woods and it has sunlight watt can I do to make it better

Asked by: Deer army
The product has three main components to it. You will see the rye grass start to grow the quickest and can be spotty. The rest can lay dormant and bloom after a while. The product does say "No-Till" but you cannot just throw the seed on the ground, contact must be made with the soil.

I planted and only see a bit of the broad leave cover coming through. the rye grass is coming up nicely. being mid sept in ohio can i expect the brassica portion to produce as cool and wet weather approaches?

Asked by: DTW deer
It should come up. As long as 4-6" come up before the winter weather hits you should be fine as well. Otherwise it will lay there till spring.
