The Pirtle Nursery July Prince Peach fruit tree produces large red to reddish yellow freestone peaches with firm, sweet flesh. These potted fruit trees require 750-850 chill hours and are self-pollinators. This variety has a perfect balance of acidity and sugar for a classic peach taste, making these fruit plants great for those who want to make jams and jellies. You can expect mature width to be about 12-15 ft.

- Includes one July Prince Peach fruit tree in a #5 (3.74 gal) pot and detailed planting instructions.
- Tree ripens in late July - August and are self-pollinators.
- Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 5-8.
- Due to improved root stock all peach trees are mostly self-pollinating; however, cross-pollination will ensure production and produce larger amounts of fruit.
- Mature height will be 12-15 feet tall. Grown on semi-dwarf rootstock. Mature width will be 12-15 feet.
- Requires full sun. The ideal soil type is well-drained, moderately fertile soil with a slightly acidic pH.
- Requires 750-850 chill hours.

3 years ago- A: Hi there, Peach trees perform best in Zones 6-8, but may even grow in Zone 9 if the conditions are right. Tractor Suppy in those zones, may stock some in store. 4 years ago- A: A July Prince Peach #5 will arrive with a height between 5-6ft, maximum mature height is around 12-15 ft. Our fruit trees are grown with semi-dwarf rootstock which helps with shorter mature heights and some natural disease resistance. These can be planted in the spring or fall, just not in the coldest or hottest months. Water accordingly, fall can be warmer and require daily water.4 years agoHelpful?

5 years ago- A: It is recommended to plant any tree in the fall or spring, when it is not too hot or too cold. The tree will maintain in the pot item arrives in, it will need water every day. Please water in the early morning or late afternoon, not in the middle of the day’s heat as tree could suffer scorch damage on leaves.
