Strange Happening

I purchased this product for use with my houseplants. While the product did seem to invigorate them, I now have a mildew/mold growing on top the dirt. This is very concerning to me and I'm not sure I want to continue using this product.

OK but.......

Used for 2 months - results were OK but but intermittent. I have now concluded that it is washing out fast so expensive when used with vegetables in containers that generally need watering once or twice every day in 30 to 36c temperatures - probably more suited to leafy plants grown in beds. VERY high in nitrogen but no dramatic growth. I am now switching to a more balanced NPK slow release feed.

Plant food response depends upon temperature and moisture. Plants will not respond if it is too cold or if there is insufficient moisture in the soil. Slow-release granular products will give the same results as water-soluble plant foods ONLY IF the plants are being watered regularly. If Plants are under stress from disease, insect activity or transplant shock they will not show signs of improvement from fertilizer.
