The Pirtle Nursery 1.5 gal. Delaware Grape Plant in #2 Pot produces small to medium size oval red grapes that grow in small, tightly packed clusters. The fruit plants provide an early-ripening red variety with a mild flavor, which is perfect for making wine or just for a sweet snack.   • Includes 1 Delaware Grape vine in a 1.5 gal. pot and detailed planting instructions
  • Delaware Grape vine typically produces ripe fruit in late August to early September
  • Delaware Grape is best grown in USDA hardiness zones 4-8
  • Fruit plants should be spaced 3-8 ft. apart and prefer deep, well-drained soil and full sun
  • Train vines to canes for best yield, though with fertile soil they give good crops even trained to cordons with spurs
  • Plant grows to 20-25 ft. H
  • 1.5 gal. size pot has actual size of 5.68 liters
  • Self-fertile plant but will produce a better crop when planted with another vine

    Dead Grape Plant

    Extremely disappointed our grape plant looks dead. Tractor Supply dies not accept a return on live plants. Very expensive grape plant with no guarantee return policy. In the future we are purchasing our live plants from a company that offers a one-year guarantee.
