Built better than old one, has a plastic funnel control instead of the old one with aluminum. The old one would hang up after use with fertilizer.

Complete upgrade from original

Complete replacement kit minus the barrel/bin and mounts. Pretty complete and allows me to replace everything that is corroded by fertilizer and moisture. Old parts were sturdy aluminum but corroded some (keep in mind that I bought this back in 2005-06' and it's been kept indoors and used infrequently), but new parts are plastic and will not corrode over time (motor and its parts are the same). Nice replacement kit but a little pricey when all you need is the motor replaced, thus 4 stars.
