I had 3 trees that were blooming fruit. I used these stakes and within 3 weeks 2 trees were dead and the other is in bad shape. DO NOT BUY!

I have two mature crabapple trees, 20” dia trunks, (est.30-50 y/o). They came down with fire blight several years ago, arborist recommended iron, tried that a few years, didn’t help much. Deep root fertilized from a tree company, helped a little but didn’t do much. I pruned the dead branches and leaves for last few years trying to save it. They struggled every year and I thought they wouldn’t last much longer. Applied the spikes last fall, 12 per tree (about 5’ apart) . This year the fire blight was 99% gone. I expected it to show up again, but just didn’t, they turned out to be the healthiest I had seen them in the 20 years I owned them, outstanding. Only downside, a bumper-crop of crabapples like I’d never seen before. Literally I’d never seen crabapple trees produce that many crabapples. It was amazing. I would’ve never guessed this to happen like it did. That being said, it’s November now and I just put in 12 more spikes. Highly recommend.

I used these as directed for my lemon tree and got great results! Lots of fresh home made lemonade here in Florida. First used them for my Apple trees in Michigan. The trees flourished and produced plenty of apples. Great for apple pie!

I used these 3 seasons in a row with great results. 4 apple, one peach, one plum. It specifically says not to place within 30” of trunk. So I’m not sure how anyone can think you can safely use it in a container.
