I am a long time gardener. I am very conscientious about what goes into my vegetable garden. I was very pleased with this fertilizer - both in composition and how it worked. I applied it to my current winter vegetables that are in the process of dying out (bc of crazy heat waves here in SoCal) and to my new plantings. For established gardens, you can spread out over current soil, whereas for my new plantings, I mixed it in with the soil (I just followed the directions on the bag). I can see my established plants thriving and am looking forward to seeing my spring/summer garden flourish because I used this. Can’t wait to see how many more tomatoes I can get!

It’s very effective for the vegetable plants. I love how easy to use and very low odor. It’s helps the plants grow faster without burning them. My plants look healthier than before. I wasn’t expecting results this fast.

Alaska Tomato and vegetable 3-6-6 plant food has a low odor. It's fine consistency mixes well with soil. Overall I would recommend the nutrient rich food to help grow strong healthy plants.

This product indicates it can be used on vegetables and flowers, so I first tried it by sprinkling some in with a struggling sage plant that I had waited a little too long to plant in-ground. The wilting picture was taken on a Sunday and the other just four days later. My sage is doing better than expected! The nutrients added by this plant food definitely helped. I just added some in with the jalapeno plants I planted earlier today, and I’m excited to see those thrive too. It’s reassuring knowing I’m adding nutrients back into what’s probably pretty depleted backyard soil.
