Q: Can this be used for grass
a year ago- A: Great question, while this is a straight fertilizer that technically can be used on any grass type, plant foods are not the best choice for a lawn because the NPK ratio is not optimized for lawn needs. This product contains phosphorous which is needed in larger amounts by edible and ornamental plants compared to grasses which need little phosphorous. Some states, cities, or counties have restrictions on applying phosphorous to the lawn. Instead, we would recommend using a suitable lawn fertilizer such as Miracle-Gro Water Soluble Lawn Food or Scotts Turf Builder Lawn Food instead.a year agoHelpful?
