Very strong for its size. I actually was able to test it, and pick up a 10lb weight with it!
My hubby keeps one in his tool box and truck and I have the other to test for metals in certain food products.

Extremely handy for picking up items that have been dropped and need to be retrieved (like my keys in the boat slip). My kids enjoy using them too for "play fishing" which keeps them off their devices so that's a win-win!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using these magnets lately at my work and also when i go camping. They are very durable and hold up to 10 pounds of stuff i been using . Haven't tried nothing heavier but definitely will recommend and buy it in the future to hung up some tools in my garage
