Knob on extension came broken. Magnet itself is geeat

We've used this on our dirt driveway and picked up a TON of nails, staples, tacks, and other things we never saw. It works in grass as long as the grass isn't too long; the longer grass tends to knock off some of the things that get picked up. But other than that, we're really happy with this purchase.

Unit was a little difficult to assemble as there were no instructions but once I got it together it worked amazingly. A nice side note that when it finds a metal object you hear a lout clunk as it attaches to the magnetic base plate. Found many more objects than I expected

It worked ok. I thought it would be a little stronger. If you’re rolling grass and it’s not super short it will pull off whatever you picked up. I wish it had a stronger magnet. I’m glad I didn’t purchase the lesser model.
