Q: A few questions regarding the 10’ Cruze sit in kayak…. Does it come in a smaller size, do you sell the other matching paddle and do you sell car roof racks to transport them easily? I’m 5’4” but think I’d be able to heave it onto the roof of my car.

- A: Hello Jenna, The Cruze only comes in one size (10 feet). We do have other sit-in-side kayaks that are shorter. The Payette is slightly shorter by 2 inches and the Pacer is only 8 feet. We do not have color options for the paddle that comes with your kayak, it is black. We do make other colors though that can be found in-store or online. As for your car rack, we do not have any specific rack recommendations since it really depends on your vehicle. There are several options available for kayaks out there. We recommend doing some research based on which rack will work best for your specific vehicle.3 years agoHelpful?

First Kayak, surprisingly fun, very stable.

May 2020, everybody has purchased Kayak's due to Coronavirus and social distancing. I had wanted a sit on top, but this was available at my budget so I rushed to grab it. Was nervous getting a sit inside, but it's super stable! I leaned over close to shore nearly to the point of water coming over the side, still wasn't ready to roll over.
5'10" tall, 180 pounds and this Kayak fits my body shape really well. The 2nd foot rest notch down is good for speed paddling, and the 3rd let's me tuck my legs under the sides for just cruising. The seat looks uncomfortable, but even with my life jacket on was still supportive after a couple hours.
Kayaked around the local lake for nearly 2 hours today, best speed with my GPS was 6mph with included paddle. Once I got used to it the Kayak's pretty nimble at slow speeds, but has to bleed off speed to make a sharper turn. That has to be due to the hull being so stable, so I'm not complaining.
Kind of wish I had purchased the second one for family and friends to toy around with.
Wish I would have bought the second one available to use with friends, but I think I will wait until a sit on top is available and do my own little comparison.
