Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice AC unit Bought this unit to cool an attic area. Length of room is about 40', width about 12'. The unit cools the room in less than 10 minutes from end to end. Thermostat shuts the unit off when room is cooled to desired temp and kicks it back on when necessary. Haven't used heating element yet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality unit Purchased and installed this A/C myself, was relatively easy. It works great, cools the room fine. I like the e/saver mode, as it totally shuts off, and then checks the room temp and maintains temp fine. This saves energy costs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice unit I bought this to cool and heat my renovated attic. It works wonderfully. I love the timer. I can preset it to start and stop. You will need a 20 amp outlet and muscles to install. So far, I am very pleased. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

How do I clean the filter ?

Asked by: KeyA
We appreciate your interest in the proper maintenance of this air conditioner. According to page 20 of the owner’s manual, check the filter at least twice a month to see if cleaning is necessary. Trapped particles in the filter can build up and block the airflow, reducing cooling capacity and causing an accumulation of frost on the evaporator. To clean the air filter: 1. Lift the inlet grille upward; 2. Remove the air filter from the front grille by pulling the air filter up slightly; 3. Wash the filter using lukewarm water cooler than 104 degrees Fahrenheit; 4. Gently shake the excess water from the filter and replace.
