Our orders ship Monday through Friday. Orders received after 1PM CST on Friday will ship the following Monday. If there are items that are not temperature sensitive in the same order as cold-ship items, we'll attempt to package and ship separately. Hoover's Hatchery Buff Chantecler Straight Run Chickens are a beautiful golden buff color, similar to the coloring of the Buff Orpington. The Chanteclers are of a cold-hardy, dual purpose breed that was originally developed in Canada in the early 1900s. The chickens feature small cushion combs along with small, practically non-existent, wattles and dense feathering.
