- Operate our GENMAX Dual-Fuel generator right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with our patent pending fuel select dial that allows for safe switching between fuel sources.
- Using gasoline, the 458cc engine produces 10000 starting watts and 9000 running watts, and will run for 14.5 hours at 50% load when the 10.6 gal. fuel tank is full.
- The covered outlets in this generator include a 120/240V 30A locking outlet (L14-30R), a 120/240V 50 A locking outlet (L14-50R), a 120V 30A outlet, four 120V 20A GFCI protected household outlets (5-20R) all with AC breakers and with a dual USB adapter.
- CO shutdown sensor helps protect both you and your family by automatically turning off the generator if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected.
- The foldaway handle and never-flat tires make transport and storage a cinch.
- Electric start Enjoy on/off push-button power with electric start, battery included, plus Cold Start Technology ensures a quick start in cold weather.

amazing generator

Bought this Genmax 5500watt generator as a backup for power outages, and it has done exactly what I needed. Assembly was quick, and it fired up easily after adding oil and gas. I was able to run my refrigerator, freezer, lights, Wi-Fi, and a few outlets without any issues.

FUEL RUN TIME!!

Fuel efficiency is impressive I got several hours of run time on a single tank, and the noise level is surprisingly manageable compared to other generators in this class. The outlets are conveniently placed and include both 120 V and 240 V options, which made hooking up my tools and home circuits easy.

A generator that never lets you down!

The GM5500XID has blown me away with how reliable and powerful it is. It starts up instantly, runs smooth, and handles everything I throw at it without struggling. The build quality feels heavy-duty, and the noise level is much lower than I expected for this size generator.
I’ve used it for work, home backup, and even on the go — and it performs flawlessly every single time. Fuel efficiency is great, makes it super convenient.
If you want a generator you don’t have to worry about, the GM5500XID is the one. Highly recommended!
