Q: Will this 11kw inverter start and run a trane 5twr7060a heat pump which has a minimum circuit ampacity of 39.0 amps? Needing to run heat pump, fridge and small tv.

- A: The minimum rumning amps required by that heat pump or any A/C compressor is irrelevant because all HVAC whole house compressor without a soft starter have a minimum start up requirement of more than 75 amps. This inverter generator, as well as any other conventional generator , would need to be a permanent whole house larger than 20KW to do the job. This 11KW inverter will do the job only if your compressor is equipped with a Soft Starter. I use a microair Flex soft starter and it works fine. There are other Soft Starter brands that are less expensive , but,as the saying says, , you get what you pay for. Please be advised.2 months ago

Confusing to set up

The bond and inbond process is very poorly explained. There needs to be a switch without taking the entire cover off. I am worried about this generator because now that we have it it’s Seems there are lots of issues with the sensors and such and that they seem to fail very quickly after the one year. I’m not sure it was worth the money.

I ran this generator for a week to power my 32’ camper running AC. I was amazed at the efficiency and power of this machine!! Ran Rec 90 gas the entire time, my preference. This machine barely went over and idle. This is my 2nd DuroMax generator, will recommend and purchase another if ever needed.
