Is a 16g needle okay to give this?

Asked by: Sheryl1962
The size needle you use depends on personal preference and what animal you are using the product on. Some people want to use larger needles because they are easier to push. The 20 X 34 is typically used for goats. A lot of people use a 14 or 16 g, in a 3/4 or 1 in length.

Can I use this on my horse when she is showing symptoms such as runny nose, swollen eye sockets filled with air and swollen glands?

Asked by: Wyoming88
Yes, by the label, you can use penicillin injectable for treatment. It is labeled to be used to treat strongyles in horses. Make sure the diagnosis is correct per your veterinarian. Dosage is 1ml per 100lbs of body weight not to exceed 10ml per site. If after 24 to 48 hours, no improvement is observed, a new treatment evaluation needs to be researched
