Q: Should bovilis covexin 8 vaccine be given before or after calving and does the calf receive a vaccination or do they get that through the mother?
2 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor! It is recommended to revaccinate annually prior to parturition (calving). For sheep, pregnant ewes should receive their booster 2 to 6 weeks before lambing to provide protection. While the vaccine is safe for pregnant cows, you should consult a veterinarian to determine if a newborn calf requires its own vaccination.a month agoHelpful?
