Q: My gas hookup and inlet are about 100 feet apart. Can I run a 100 foot 3/4 natural gas line to the generator or will it lose to much pressure because of the distance? The other option would be to run a 50 ft gas and 50ft 50 amp cord?

- A: I am not a certified plumber but I have mine with 50 feet and so far so good, no problems with gas distance, I am almost positive about you could run a metal gas pipe 100 feet without losing pressure.9 months ago

Bought for a new home generation. Unpacked and easy to assemble in about 45 mins. Added oil and gas to get the 1st run in. Just a couple of cranks and it fired right up and ran smooth. Just so happened the power went out just as i was cleaning up the packing material. Real live test. Restarted the generator, followed the handy how-to card and now my home has all the power it needed.
Thanks for making a great product.

First time starting unit it poured gas out the bottom of it. After that was fixed I discovered that the idle control did not work. Whats next?????
