The Dog Palace Premium Insulated Dog House has up to 4 in. of real foam (styro and EPS) insulation in each panel to keep your dog warmer during the winter and cooler during the summer. Sized for large or medium dogs, the insulated dog house features a self-closing insulated door and a raised sloped floor for easy clean-up. This dog house also includes repositionable windows for summer cross ventilation and a heater portal to keep optional heater's cord away from your pet. It's ideal for pets of all life stages, including Medium and Large breeds.

- A: The Dog Palace is designed for dogs with shoulder heights less tahn 26.5". It should be big enough for a 60lb dog. Our largest house is the CRB Palace and is has about twice the volume of the Dog Palace.a year agoHelpful?

- A: Hello ActionJaxie, Thank you for your question. According to the manufacturer, the door swings open pretty easily, but can be removed if needed. While the product is not designed for chickens, removing the door may allow for easy entry/exit.3 years agoHelpful?

Easy to erect looks to be durable and should have longevity
Little issue getting my Lab to use the pet door, currently have door tied open, am sure he will eventually learn

Poor quality, not shipped with all pieces

The jury is still out of if this is truly an insulated dog house. It was shipped in 2 separate boxes and looked like it was thrown in the box. No packing, no instructions, no screws for the predrilled holes. Had to go to YouTube for instructions and it was anything but easy. Side panels were not straight, when we finally found screws that might fit the holes they didn’t make connection with anything so we had to make our own holes. In all it took about 4-4.5 hours to get to together. Would have sent back had it not been so expensive to ship and we had already spend over 300 on it already. Will not purchase another one of these.

Excellent design. I was leery at first with only 8 screws for the assembly, but the inter-locking panels is why so few are needed. I'm using it for the stray cats to live in this winter and they love it so far. I had to remove the bottom half of the door because I don't think I could teach the cats to push it open. I'm going to try to attach something to the upper half to help block more wind.
