Q&As

1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: How do you get this generator to output more than 3000 watts before tripping the 30amp breaker?

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! To get more than 3,600 watts without tripping the breaker, you must pull power from the 30-amp twist-lock outlet using a proper transfer switch or power distribution cord to balance the electrical load evenly across both 120-volt legs. For your safety and to prevent equipment damage, always consult the official manufacturer manual and hire a certified electrician to handle all heavy-duty or home backup wiring.

    Great unit

We have this unit and after learning how to use it the first time it has paid for itself several times over the past year. It ran 7 hours yesterday before our power was restored with no problems.

    Hard working generator

I purchased this generator about 5 years ago I used it during the freeze storm in February 2021 for a whole week non stop after sitting for 3 years with fuel in it starter right up now in June 2024 we had a bad storm that left us with no electricity for 5 day and this generator was working day and night keeping my 82 years old grandmother safe and comfortable. Great generator totally worth the price.

    very satisfied

i bought this generator several months ago and have put 4 hours on it. It runs my whole house including water pump, heat pump, stove, etc. the electric start has been thoroughly reliable. My only complaint is the run time guage, which is hard to interpret, rather than a straight on fuel guage
