Aronia Berry is a sour berry native to the eastern half of the United States. It is vigorous, cold hardy and grows well in various soil types. These berries may be eaten raw but are often used in wine, jam, soft spreads, and other processed foods. Aronia Berry is a dormant plant selected by DeGroot, offering you the opportunity to get a head start to the season! Due to its dormant state, this plant may lack foliage until it is planted. There is no need to wait until after frost, this may be planted as soon as the ground is workable. This early planting prevents transplant shock and allows it more time to develop its root system. If your plant does have foliage, provide protection from frost. Depending on the climate and weather experienced after planting, this plant could take up to 4-6 weeks to break dormancy and show signs of growth. Guaranteed to Grow* Product must be purchased before June 1st. Sales receipt and UPC required. For refund, please go to: https://retail.degroot-inc.com/guarantee.

Q: can this be planted in the fall
8 months ago- A: Dear Leroy, Thank you for reaching out! This plant can be planted any time the soil is workable. Since it’s one of our spring products, we typically recommend planting in the spring once the ground has thawed and is easy to prepare. If you already have your plant on hand, we encourage you to check its viability before planting so you can give it the best start possible. We’re excited for you to enjoy it in your garden and encourage you to contact us directly with any additional questions you might have at [email protected] or (269)468-6714. Sincerely, DeGroot Inc.8 months agoHelpful?
Q: Can these be planted in large pot planter?
5 years ago- A: Thank you for your question. Aronia berry may be planted in a pot or container as long as there is proper drainage and it is proportional to the size of the plant. It should be moved into a larger pot later, as it grows. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us at (269) 468-6714 or [email protected] so we may assist you. Thank you, DeGroot Inc.5 years agoHelpful?
