Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little machine We've used this several times now. Starts right up! Easy to switch from horizontal to vertical. Very stable and sturdy. We have a lot of oak and hickory trees, and we lose one every few years. This was a very good investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine! I bought this log splitter back around the first of March. I have cut and split seven full truck loads of wood with it and it is still going strong. A very good investment!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works hard I have owned this machine for 14 months now and it has split some large hard logs including the crotch of a tree with a little hesitation but it split that sucker when I didn't think it could do it. Only reason for 3 stars is it would not start after leaving it sit over the winter and had to replace the carburetor even though I removed all the fuel including gas from the carb. Some research I found that the Kohler SH series engines will have carb failure if left sitting. Hopefully a fuel additive such as Marvel Mystery Oil and starting it once a week will prevent future carb failure.
