Introducing the 27-ton horizontal and vertical hydraulic log splitter. The DK2 POWER OPS227 is driven by a powerful KOHLER SH265 6.5HP 196cc engine. This machine is capable of splitting up to 25.5 in.s in length and 19.6 in. in diameter with uncompromising force at a cycle speed of 13 seconds, all while using the full potential of its 8-inch heat-treated steel wedge. The OPS227 sits on a 37 in. wheelbase equipped with 16-inch O.D. 4.8-8 tires and includes a tow bar for easy job site moving. 2 Year warranty on KOHLER engine and 1 year on Chassis2 Year warranty on KOHLER engine and 1 year on Chassis

Great product. You should have help to assemble (though I did not). Very heavy duty!

-22 start, no problem

I had great experiences with the DK2 stump grinder and chipper, so I went the brand again for the log splitter and no regrets. Incredibly solid and easy to use. Assembled it myself without any problems...very straightforward. The highlight for me was a 3-pull start after it sat outside unused for a month. It was minus 22 and it started on the 3rd pull. Probably not recommended but I showed two 9-year olds how to use it (with very close supervision) and we had an assembly line going and completed an hour of work in about 15 minutes. Highly recommend this piece of equipment.
