Works better than I expected

I just got my splitter today and tried it out. I have a small wood burner in my walkout basement. I don't need large pieces of wood. I have wooded property and there is always down trees. I just had trees come down and I need to remove them but also build a wood pile for my wood stove. The tree I am working on is Mulberry which is good firewood but tough to cut like oak or ash. This splitter will split wet good size pieces with ease and it has a respectable cycle time. I am really pleased with it because it is just what I need, I was splitting wood with a maul, and I am 84 and it was difficult.

An amazing little splitter

I was a bit skeptical when I first purchased this electric log splitter. However, after getting it home and setting it up I started splitting firewood and I was absolutely impressed. So far I have split red oak, white oak, cherry, and walnut with this splitter. I have zero complaints and would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Can't stand Unit upright

Unit does what it is suppose to do but the switch located in the back and you can't stand the unit upright for Storage. The unit doesn't could go a little farther forward too but you can work around that with a small piece of wood in front of the wood you are splitting if you want to.
