Seldom held wood thought enough and even when it did not have enough power to split 3 inch limb which already had cracks in it

Not Tuff at all

Unboxed and assembled. Put an already split piece of wood on it. Pressed hard 2 or 3 times and split off a small piece for kindling. Put back on the original piece to try and do the same again, take off a small edge for kindling... and the pin or whatever that engages and applies the pressure rounded off or broke and then it would not engage and split. 2nd use... 5 mins in... and headed for the returns desk.

It works very well on a specific size of wood, and it provides a pretty good leg workout!
