- A: The manual does not specify a log size. Concerning fuel it provides: For peak performance, we suggest the use of hard seasoned natural wood, loading wood length way from front to rear. NOTE: Soft woods such as pine, create more creosote, clogging of chimney and produce a less efficient burn performance. BUCK STOVE IS THE PERFECT STOVE

Just got this woodstove installed in my living room and I couldn't be happier!! It is the perfect size stove with a great blower attached and fits right inside my current fireplace as an insert. It burns nice size wood that's not too big for me to handle and carry from outside to inside. It heats my living room nicely. Great purchase!
