Home Fresh Show Hutch Deluxe 17 is a premium extruded rabbit diet that can be fed to all rabbit categories, but is specifically designed for growing, breeding and maintenance of adult and show rabbits. Home Fresh Show Hutch Deluxe 17 may be fed as a complete feed; however, management and genetics will affect the use of this product without supplemental fiber (hay or roughage). Feeding supplemental hay or roughage may be offered to maintain a healthy digestive system. Provide clean, fresh water at all times. IMPORTANT: Be sure to weigh the feed properly. A standard measuring cup holds about 4 oz. of Show Hutch Deluxe 17. Extruded feeds weigh significantly less than pelleted feeds and should be fed by weight, not by volume. Feeding by volume will result in severely underfed rabbits. We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent/Blue Seal product or even between Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one week to 100% of the new Kent/Blue Seal product.
