- A: Because galvanized steel is a porous material, any chemical or mineral will stay trapped in the steel and cause premature rusting. When gardening, if rusting is a concern, we recommend our poly stock tanks which are made out of FDA approved polyethylene.6 years agoHelpful?

Do you have them pooping chillens outside? Well just either rip the diaper off & hose them down or dunk them in this tank, they will enjoy it, want to add some excitement to it? Put some bubble juice in it.

We actually bought the two Sheep Stock Tanks to use as Water bottle server/holder for our 100th anniversary this summer. We can use it for drinks and then put it use with our livestock. Great product.
