The new style drain plug is 1000 times better than the old one. Very easy to put on and off, hand tighten and it doesn't leak.

Cracked in 2 years.

Got this as a pond for my turtle and it developed a crack within two years. I have a tuff stuff 110 gallon stock tank and a McCord preformed pond that are almost a decade old and still in great condition no cracks. I don't recommend to waste your money on these, they aren't built to last.
