Q: Is the water deep enough for ducks to dunk their entire beaks in?

- A: The Behlen Country 100-Gallon Rigid Poly Tank is not designed with enough water depth in its integrated drinker for ducks to fully submerge their beaks and heads. Its shallow, easy-access design is intended for livestock like goats and chickens to prevent contamination. Ducks require a deeper water source; a minimum of 4-6 inches, to properly clean their nostrils and eyes. Therefore, a separate, deeper container would be necessary to ensure proper hygiene for ducks.6 months agoHelpful?
Q: Not true it will not crack in a freeze. The tray where hogs drink cracked and leaked and it’s hardly 6 months old

When you purchased the stock tank, a packet of instructions would have been taped on the inside of the tank; these instructions will illustrate how to adjust the valve for the reservoir. Bought this got up charged before check out with an additional shipping charge of 140$ and still waited weeks for it. Worse waterer we have ever had. Bought this for 4 pigs, and i have had to take it apart 10 times in the first 5 days. to where i’ve already pulled it out. It came together, so i never thought to take it apart… my bad, then after taking it apart and taking off the rubber band on the float… if it is at all off level it leaks. Someone that pays for there water, 100 gals 3 times a day waiting on my husband to get home( in the 100 degree heat) the word frustrating is an understatement. Do not buy, i promise you’ll regret it

Repeated float valve failure in first year

We've had this thing for just shy of a year and it's awful. About 3 months in the float valve failed. We reached out to behlen and they sent us a replacement without issue. It's been about 6 months and it's failed again. I'm sure they'd replace it again if we reached out, but honestly, if it's going to continue to fail multiple times each year, I don't want to deal with it. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.
