Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for. I needed more water troughs for my Nubian goats. That were short enough for the kids to drink from. These are perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for raised bed gardens I am an avid gardener who retired to northeastern NC. The soil here is terrible, and I have problems with moles & voles so traditional raised beds don't work for me. I purchased 2 110 gallon troughs three years ago, drilled drainage holes around the bottom sides and added 3 " of gravel for drainage. I then filled them with a combination of purchased soil. garden compost and a bit of horse manure. Because they worked so well I bought 2 of the small size the following year and another large one the year after that. These have held up very well. We experience some really cold weather here in the winter, but because the black plastic holds heat, I can plant cold weather crops in the fall for early winter harvest and and start as early as late February and cover with a lightweight garden fabric. The large ones hold 3 tomato plants and green beans along the sides. The smaller ones hold 2-3 pepper, eggplants or vertically grown cukes as well as lettuce and kale along the sides. An added bonus for this 70 year old lady is that I don't have to bend over to plant, maintain and harvest my crops. During the growing season I bury compost directly in the center of the container and earthworms do the rest. I am thinking I may add one more container this year for squash!

I want to use this for an outdoor shower pan. Will it hold up to a 300 lbs person standing in it?

Yes, as long as the tub is on a flat surface it should have no issue holding a 300 lbs person.

Can this tank be cut with any kind of saw.  I want to use it as a shower base, so I want to cut the side down lower on the side I would enter.

Asked by: Larry Jays
Yes, you can take a circular saw, reciprocating saw, or even a jig saw and cut around the tank at what ever length you may need.
