Holds water, but way smaller than 2x6x2!!!

I needed a tank, not for livestock, but to cure some concrete panels in water for a couple weeks. If it weren’t sized like dimensional lumber, it would have fit all the panels I needed to soak. Instead, it’s about 18” wide, and 5 1/2’ long. That’s right, a 2x6x2 tank is about six inches shorter and thinner than 2’x6’. I didn’t even bother measuring at the store, because I didn’t anticipate getting screwed by nominal sizing. This sucks. It’s a great tank, but not the size advertised dimensionally.

Don’t waste time and money

Extremely disappointed in this product. Needed it to get my cattle through the summer heat after old trough needed replacing, but it couldn’t even do that. Bought it Memorial Day weekend and have had to try and patch it up 7 times now. Leaks from the bottom, side seal is busted so most water comes out of there, and the drainage opening doesn’t tighten enough so it pours out of there as well. Material is cheap and construction is poor at best. Absolute waste of money. If you’re looking for durable products worth buying DO NOT buy county line. I Paid over 200 dollars for a headache.

Not actual size!

Actual exterior dimensions are 24" X 66" x 21", I thought I was replacing my 2x6x2 stock tank, but it was smaller side by side so I measured it and not what I was told I was getting.

When they say sizes vary, they are not kidding. I have several of these that I bought myself, which are 2'x2'x6'. I ordered one for same-day delivery, and it was over 3 inches smaller in every dimension.

disappointing condition and service

I bought 2 of these 2X6X2 tanks online. They were in stock so I went to pick up what I had just purchased, got them loaded and home, then discovered that they had no drain caps. Called TSC, went to pick up caps, got home to discover that one of the caps had a broken gasket. Drove back again to TSC to get a new cap. Got them unloaded, to find that one of the tanks was definitely used, bottom nearly rusted through on one end. Reloaded tank and took back again to TSC to exchange for the new one I paid for. The manager told my husband, "there's nothing wrong with that that one" and he was annoyed that we insisted upon getting the new one we paid for. Got back home with the new one and got it unloaded and flipped upright and all this rust & water came pouring out from under the rim. I thought "galvanized" meant it would not rust?! Not going back. We have made 4 trips to TSC to get what we got and I am very disappointed in the condition of these tanks and TSC's handling of the matter. In fairness to the product, I would have been 100% satisfied with the tanks had they been stored in dry conditions and not sold to me in a deteriorated state. Find a place they are stored in dry conditions.
