Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great perfect tank for small area pen. works well with automatic float to keep my animals hydrated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outboard This tank works perfectly as a wash out for an outboard motor. The cuffs on a hose never have worked very well, with this you get a full emersion and flow of water with enough volume to run the motor under a load. Great for running long enough to remove salt water residue. Drain plug for easy clean up and light enough to pick up and move without help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tank, but not Tax Exempt The tank is a wonderful brooder for my juvenile chickens. Please be aware that if you gathering materials for your school, this item is not tax exempt. The purchaser will have to pay the taxes that the school usually does not reimburse.

Can the drain plug be completely removed and then a garden hose connected to it? How many gallons of water does this hold?

Asked by: TimY
The drain plug is threaded and can accept a standard water hose fitting. This tank has a 100-gallon capacity.

I want to use this for fish, but I was thinking about putting it in the ground half way. I want to decorate around it with stone and plants and two feet above ground is higher than I want it. Would it be ok to submerge a bit?

Asked by: Bmendoza
This could cause premature corrosion to the tank.

How do you remove the drain plug?

Use a pair of needle nose pliers to grip the inside of the plug and twist to the left.

If you drill holes to attach wheels, will that cause rusting? Hoping to use this as a planter but do not want to breach the galvanized coating and shorted the life.

Asked by: stacy1234
Yes, drilling holes could cause rust but it should be minimal. The recommendation is to spray paint over the holes that should help prevent rust form happening.
