American Stockman Kiln-Dried Solar Medium Livestock Salt contains our largest cut crystals. We use standard solar evaporation technology from the Great Salt Lake and kiln drying for high purity to create this salt. The livestock salt can be used for all classes of beef and dairy cattle, sheep, pigs, and horses. It is beneficial for a variety of herd types and comes in a 50 lb. bag offering a good amount of use out of each back. Offer consistently as free-choice with readily available fresh water. Easy to feed, the large crystals don’t sift down to the bottom of the feed pan when mixed with their concentrates. All my horses love it. Licks just don’t get enough salt into them, direct feeding or free feed loose does.

Best thing free choice for Horses.

I have used this for years with my horses. Horses can get what they need easily free choice. And easy to throw a handful in their feed. Don’t want the iron in the red salt blocks not good for hooves.
