The Iodized Livestock Salt Block is a specially formulated bag and block salt with calcium iodate to help promote proper thyroid gland activity, which helps produce the necessary levels of thyroid hormones for optimum performance. Iodine deficiencies in livestock can lead to goiter (an enlargement of the thyroid gland), a condition most often found in young animals. This salt product is intended for beef cattle, dairy cows, horses, goats, pigs and sheep. Iodized salt blocks are weather resistant for free choice feeding.DISCLAIMER : Brand may vary by store. Online orders with store pickup

The Salt is great but the process to get it was not. 1 of 2 blocks did not come as ordered to my local store. Online customer service reordered and it was replaced; they were very nice. My local store is very uninterested and always seem annoyed with my online orders. They tell me, "they have nothing to do with online orders". I order my feed online so I can get it all at once monthly, as it is 40 miles into town. This order took me 3 trips. Better integration between online and the store would be appreciated.

You always have a good price on this type of salt that i use yeararound. I like tractor supply stores the best of all other farm stores because they always have plenty of the things on hand. Espically in season when i need them. They will give you a large purchase discount. The employees know whats going on and can actually help you. The store i use most isnt large but has the things you need, not a bunch of wortless impulse items. Keep up the good work.
