Works like it should

I’ve used this four times and it’s worked very well. Just wanted to leave a couple comments that might assist you if you purchase this. Use gloves when assembling. The spikes are very sharp from the factory and you will be handling them as well as handling other parts while in close proximity to the spikes. Lay out your parts and follow the instructions. The instructions are complete and there is an accurate parts diagram. I had no issues with assembly. If you have to raise and lower the spikes frequently due to tight turns or having to cross hard surfaces, consider a modification I made. I drilled a hole in the handle that raised and lowers the spikes, attached a rope through the hole, then attached the rope to the back of the mower. This way I can reach back and raise the spikes without having to get off the mower every time. After several uses, the spikes may become blunt due to hitting rocks etc. The most efficient way for me to sharpen them was using an impact driver to remove the nut that secures each spike, then sharpen the spikes with a grinder. Hope this helps.

Extremely Disappointed Cheaply Made

Left wheel wobbles. Cannot be straightened. Shaft weld broke and it’s sitting in yard totally unusable. Got one season out of it. Very cheap material. Not tough at all. Cheap.

Seems to be a solid piece of equipment.

I bought this to aerate my one acre lot. The unit works perfectly after putting 4 pavers in the tray area. I am very pleased with the results.

Well made machine- does an excellent job!

I found the spikes to be stout and sharp. Packaging was well done with no issues. The assembly video was helpful as I am a visual learner.

Great aerators, weak wheel axles

The tines themselves are adequately robust for the job. I aerated 2 acres pulling this behind both a compact tractor and a lawn mower with good core depth (roughly 2.5") and good core ejection from the tines. This was in a silty clay soil after a rainfall. There was 120# of weight on the upper platform for this run. My constructive criticism is that the wheel assembly is too weak if you need to pull the aerator to the job (with the weights on) over any kind of uneven terrain. This wasn't a problem when I was using the tractor since I just put the weights in the tractor bucket to transport. However, using the lawn mower meant I had to keep the weights on the aerator in order to transport. One of the wheel axles bent the moment it hit a slight hole in the gravel driveway.

Yes, I recommend this product.
