The Agri-Fab 48 in. Tine Dethatcher is perfect for the larger yards with its 24 heat treated tines that are 3/16 in. dia. A lawn dethatcher is ideal for bringing matted layers of thatch and large clippings to the surface. This grass dethatcher has a simple to use cantilever transport handle for easy raising and lowering. Q: I had a large number of cedars mulched on our property and have several large and fairly thick areas of mulch that I would like to spread out to a larger area. Would this accessory be a good choice? Are the tines stiff enough to move the mulch?

Seems well made and assembly wasn't overly difficult. The unit isn't really that big so doesn't take up much space for storage. As for how well it works I used 50 lbs. in cinder blocks and it pulled up a lot of thatch. It's a good investment and nice addition to my lawn equipment.
