- A: In order to tow the unit if your mower doesn't have a hitch plate you will need to purchase one. If using a zero turn you must take wide turns in order as to not get the sweeper in to the mower wheels and sharp turns will also damage the wheels.a month agoHelpful?

- A: You may need to do a criss cross patter to sweep what is on top of the grass. Please remember the brushes can not be any lower that 1/2 in into the tip of the grass at any time.8 months agoHelpful?

- A: The sweeper is designed to pick up leaves and grass clipping. If you are sweeping up pine needles you must mow over them first . It may not pick up all. You may have to sweep in a criss cross manor to pick up the needles. Please check you brushes to make sure the needles do not wrap around the wheel and shaft and cause damage.8 months agoHelpful?
Q: I am thinkingof purchasing your Agri-Fab tow behind sweeper. My question is will this unit work on packed dirt? Everything I read it states on lawn or turf. I need it to work on dirt.

- A: The sweepers are designed to sweep up dry grass clippings and leaves. The brushes should never be down on the ground. If so that could result in damage to the wheels. If you read the manual it states that the brushes should be no more than 1/2 in into the grass. Not on the ground.11 months agoHelpful?

Nice but time will tell

I assembled the lawn sweeper and have used it once so far. It did a great job picking up grass clippings and leaves, and it also left nice sweep lines in the lawn that gave the yard a well-maintained look.
The only issue was that one of the wheel rims had a broken piece of plastic (about 2" x 1") when I opened the box. I'm hoping it doesn't affect the wheel's durability over time.
The box itself was in pretty rough shape when I picked it up. It looked like it may have gotten wet at some point and then dried out, which weakened the cardboard. Because of that, I suspect the wheel damage may have occurred during handling rather than being a manufacturing defect.
Overall, I'm pleased with its performance so far. The real test will come this fall when I have a yard full of leaves to clean up. I'm not sure how well the Velcro bag will hold up. I have a zero turn, so you have to get off the mower to dump it.

Bought this last summer to replace well used Craftsman sweeper. Large yard, size appealed to me. Flaw…hopper frame folded like a cheap umbrella when dumping wet grass. Beefed up upper rear where metal split in the center with a steel bar I inserted and welded the tubing back together. Sides of frame bent, slid 18” long water pipes I pre drilled for the pivot points over tubing I straightened. Sweeper part works fine, after modification basket working.
