- A: In order to tow the unit if your mower doesn't have a hitch plate you will need to purchase one. If using a zero turn you must take wide turns in order as to not get the sweeper in to the mower wheels and sharp turns will also damage the wheels.5 months agoHelpful?

The bag drags on the ground, even when adjusted higher up on the tractor. The lower frame where it connects to the sweeper bends and no spare parts are available to replace them.

Saves many hours of raking

Picked up at retailer. All parts were there. Assembly very easy using Quick Start guide. I have a difficult 2 acres, very uneven surface and lots of mature pines. I'd say it picked up about 80% of the pine straw, sticks, and cones on the first pass at about 3 mph. Will work on cross-sweeping patterns and fine tuning brush height and tractor speed. Two design suggestions: 1) Independent left-right agitator bars so the unit can make tighter turns without damaging gears, since portions of my yard can only be done with tight turns, and 2) detachable gears separate from wheel that can be replaced cheaply, if need be. Overall, very happy so far. Traded days of raking for a couple hours of sweeping. Wish I had bought it a couple years ago.

Some Good, Some Horrible

I bought this sweeper at the start of this season and have used 3-4 times and have had several issue with it. The bag assemble is horrible. Very flimsy and I have had to reinforce it in several locations. It has also already stripped out the useless plastic gears on the wheels. I am not over loading it or turning to tightly either. Sweeper itself works very well (until the plastic gears fail).
