I ended up buying this one because I was at Tractor Supply and they had it in stock. There was 2 other brands I had considered and both had to be ordered. I'm actually glad I ended up with this one anyhow. Assembly was a breeze. I had this together in about 45 min. That includes taking the gear drive housing apart and greasing it. (they come bone dry) I used BelRay waterproof grease. I'm sure anything would be better than how it comes just be sure and put something on them. *Side note Instructions suggest two 7/16 wrenches. Do yourself a favor and use a 7/16 wrench and a 7/16 socket 3/8 drive. I'm in Upper East Tennessee and my property is slopped, one steep slope section and some really flat area of mowed pasture. The first run I only loaded one 50lb bag of fertilizer so I could stop and mess with the settings some and get the initial feel of how it pulls and operates behind my ATV. I ran the gate on setting number 4 and it was broadcasting clean at 8-10 feet running 3mph. I stopped and adjusted to setting number 5 and it threw granulars to about a full 12ft running at the same speed. For me I readjusted and settled on setting 4. That seems to be a nice pitch and it's not emptying the tub too fast. Now the good part! With a full 100lbs of weight I attempted some really off camber runs on my steepest slope as well as some bumpy root sections and this thing stayed stuck to the ground like glue! I was really happy with that especially reading about how some of these tip over easily even with the same wheel base. I did notice on my steepest pitch with a full tub I lost a little bit over the side. I will be investing in the rain cover that the manufacture offers as an accessory to prevent this. By far I am very happy with this purchase. I think with good care and lubrication 1-2 times a year on the gear set. This product will last many years. Also, its good to know that they offer a full range of replacement parts should something break. I hope these comments are helpful in making your decision.
