The Agri-Fab 42 in Tow-Behind Lawn Sweeper is designed to help simplify lawn cleanup and maintain a professionally groomed outdoor space throughout the seasons. Ideal for collecting grass clippings during spring and summer or leaves and small twigs during fall cleanup, this lawn sweeper helps reduce the time and effort required for manual yard maintenance. Sturdy and works well!

Bought for husband's birthday. Once together it works great but only 4 stars because assembly was very challenging especially without a big shop area. Complex instructions with confusing line drawings. Parts named but not numbered or labeled, similarities caused mistakes in attachment requiring extra time to disassemble and redo. Video helpful if you have large viewscreen. Our recommendation would be: Clear written instructions; numbers/labels on each piece that match instructions; 3D photos of parts instead of 2D line drawings. Need helper for heavy lifting once main assembly completed and to hold bolts inside while other person tightens. Allow 3-4 hours to assemble. Once together you'll love it!

Decent Sweeper For The Job

I bought this sweeper, due to the name and my Father recommending Agri-Fab. Setup was not the easiest in the world, and had to reply on the videos, which ran so fast, I had to rewind several times. One major issue with installation is attaching the pivot bolts to the side bars. The length of bolt provided was clearly not long enough to thread both the hold-down nut and the corresponding lock nut...not enough threads to start the lock nut. I had the "squeeze" the bar, with a vice, at the holes to provide enough clearance for the bolt to tighten it down. I am puzzled as to why Agri-Fab designed this part of the assembly the way they did, then again, maybe they didn't supply the correct length of bolt. In any case, I got it to work, assembled the rest of sweeper without issue. It really does a good job, though you may want to watch how much grass clippings as well as how wet the clippings may be, before you try to dump them with the rope...maybe I just need to work out more.
