- A: The sweeper is designed to sweep up leaves and grass clipping. You must make sure that the brush is not lower then 1/2 in into the tip of the grass. The brushes should never be on the ground.a year agoHelpful?

Decent Sweeper For The Job

I bought this sweeper, due to the name and my Father recommending Agri-Fab. Setup was not the easiest in the world, and had to reply on the videos, which ran so fast, I had to rewind several times. One major issue with installation is attaching the pivot bolts to the side bars. The length of bolt provided was clearly not long enough to thread both the hold-down nut and the corresponding lock nut...not enough threads to start the lock nut. I had the "squeeze" the bar, with a vice, at the holes to provide enough clearance for the bolt to tighten it down. I am puzzled as to why Agri-Fab designed this part of the assembly the way they did, then again, maybe they didn't supply the correct length of bolt. In any case, I got it to work, assembled the rest of sweeper without issue. It really does a good job, though you may want to watch how much grass clippings as well as how wet the clippings may be, before you try to dump them with the rope...maybe I just need to work out more.

This is a terrible product. The tires lock up, pins fall out, the cheap plastic catcher doesn't last, I'm so disappointed that I bought one.

Solidly Built — Works Well

Bought the sweeper a month ago. Very solidly built. Instructions were a little bit difficult given the drawings but got it together no problem. Works well picking up grass and pine cones and spikey balls. Assembled in America!!!
