Make the most of your mower with an Agri-Fab 40 in. Spike Aerator. Spike aerators use a series of rotating star-shaped tines that slice into the soil. This allows seed, fertilizer, water, air, light and nutrients to reach the grass roots. Use this tow behind spike aerator when the lawn's moisture content is high. The 40 in. lawn spike aerator provides up to 2.5 in. of aeration depth by adding up to 100 lb. to the weight tray. When you aerate your lawn, you are opening up the soil surface to let grass roots get the air and moisture they need for healthy growth.3-Year limited warranty

- A: 2 inches. Depending on the ground hardness determines how deep they go. I add weights to the back but they still don’t go in the 2 inches. During it when the ground is wet may help but since my yard is hilly that’s not an option for me.5 years agoHelpful?

Not a real reliable company

I ordered this aerator two weeks ago and received it within three days. The kit was short one plastic bushing that was needed for assembly.
I called Agrifab over a week ago and was told the bushing would be shipped right away.
I tried to call yesterday and was put on hold for over 45 minutes and never got to talk to someone.
I called this morning and was assured the part was on the way. My e it is and maybe it isn’t.

Once you spoke with someone the operator goes into the system and can see the tracking on the order. Hopefully they gave you the tracking. If you had a email on the order you would also receive the tracking for your order. My apology for what ever the delay has been.

It does OK, but a plug aerator is better. It holds two regular cinder blocks, but could use more weight.
