The fourteen heat-treated tines are ideal for bringing matted layers of thatch and large clippings to the surface to then be picked up by a sweeper. This universal lawn dethatcher fits most lawn sweepers in the market. The front mount dethatcher attaches quickly for instant pickup of removed thatch. I mounted the dethatcher to the front of an AgriFab sweeper; mounting was easy and instructions were easy to follow. I use the dethatcher for the first time yesterday and I was happy with what it was able to bring up. The reason for 4 stars is because I wish the tines were a little closer together. But, overall, I am happy with the purchase.
